Our Ratecard
Establishing the 'cost per thousand readers' rate is a recognised marketing formula that can help you to check whether your money is being spent in the right place. All of your advertising should be measured in this way as some publishers may only print a small amount of copies i.e. 1000. So even if you are being charged a very low rate, your advertising would still work out very expensive per thousand readers.
Our brochure will be read by at least two people (this is the lowest expectation based on the premise that most people would visit or stay in an area with at least one other person), although it is likely to be higher. Therefore, with a print run of 15,000 copies per issue and each one being read by a minimum of 2 people, our readership and therefore the potential customers we can bring to your business, is in excess of 30,000 per issue and over 60,000 per year.

Your cost per thousand readers rate
If you take the price of our cheapest advert (£59.95) and divide by 30 (30 thousand readers per issue) it equates to just £2.00 per thousand readers. Also if you were to take a quarter page advert for just £105.50 it would work out at only £3.52 per thousand readers. A full page advert at £290.00 would be just £9.67, and even our most expensive advert on the back page at just £420.00, would still only be £14.00 per thousand readers. As a comparison if you were to put a flyer in the local paper, you could be paying anything from £19.50 to £23.65 + vat per thousand issues, and they do not even target the tourists and/or visitors to the area!
